This month, I’m shining the spotlight on someone who embodies passion, hustle, and heart - Kat Yung, founder of The Festival Babes. Not only is Kat a dear friend of mine, she’s also the woman who gave me an opportunity to build a career in this industry. It’s easy to say that without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Kat is a registered nurse currently pursuing her master’s degree and nurse practitioner’s license, all while running one of the most recognizable communities in the EDM space. What started as a passion project has evolved into a powerful platform for women in music, creativity, and connection. Under her leadership, The Festival Babes has grown into a thriving movement, blending content, community, and culture in a way that feels both authentic and empowering.

Kat’s ability to balance a demanding healthcare career with her vision for this brand is a reminder that you don’t have to fit into one box.
